NORTH LAS VEGAS – The city of North Las Vegas will soon be home to a multi-million dollar development for international trade.
Construction begins Wednesday on the Vegas Trade Village going up on the northeast corner of Cheyenne Avenue and Commerce Street. The $100 million project is a first of its kind in the Las Vegas valley.
It aims to take a piece of vacant desert and transform it into an international marketplace. The vacant lot doesn’t look like much but city leaders hope to transform it into what is described as a one-stop shop for manufacturers from around the world where they can show their goods. People will be able to shop, eat, relax and meet all in one location.
